MOLDINO Tool Engineering, Ltd. is pleased to announce that the Uozu plant in Uozu City, Toyama Prefecture, which had been closed, will start operations from October 5th for the purpose of strengthening the manufacturing system.
Our company was established in 1933 and joined the Mitsubishi Materials Group in April 2015.
On April 1st, 2020, the company name was changed from Mitsubishi Hitachi Tool Engineering, Ltd. to MOLDINO Tool Engineering, Ltd. with our firm commitment to bring innovation to the mold & die industry, foundation for manufacturing. Under the new company name, we are expanding to the world with a business strategy that focuses on carbide tools for the mold processing field.
The Uozu plant was founded as Uozu Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in 1936, then merged with Hitachi Tool Engineering, Ltd. in 1997 and operated as a drill manufacturing base until 2009, but the business was transferred to the Yasu plant due to business restructuring and suspended the operation.
